Storytime on Canada's scariest haunted house. AKA how we almost died. I'm going to say that we nearly died five times. We cried, we hyperventilated, we got concussions. There are four sections to the haunted house. There's one that's like with clowns, and then there's one called Badlands. It didn't really have like a specific theme. There was one that was a slaughterhouse and one called the way down where you, we'll get into what happens. The first one is more like a regular haunted house. Like they start you off easy. They try to trick you. They gave us these like 3D glasses, and so the whole thing was 3D. Right when we were about to leave, this guy comes out from like around the corner, starts chasing us with a chainsaw. This big 3D clown jumps out at us and that's what we think the scariest part of the room is. No, psych, chainsaw. When we came out of the clown one, we basically come out and so much saliva in my mouth and we're all hunkered over like trying to catch our breath. This one's Badlands. Everybody else found this not as scary as me and Holly did, but me and Holly got basically attacked, so that's why we found it so scary. Because we were in the back. First we're like, oh, this one's like not that bad. Like there's not like that many scary things. We go through this tunnel and it's like raining on us. As soon as we get out, there's a guy with this like scary ass costume and he's holding a bucket and he's just standing there staring at us. And we we like jump at him and we're like, okay. And we like take these safety goggles. He gives us, enter this tunnel of wind. Everybody's already out of the tunnel. Me and Holly, this one like bitch going like this and she like won't let us pass and we're like, we're trying to get past. We're like backed up against the wall shuffling. As soon as we get past this lady, we try and book it for the exit. All of a sudden this guy comes running in from the other side, straight into our faces. Back up. I smash my head on the back of this. We're in like a sea can and I hurt my elbow. I smashed the back of my head. I'm falling on the floor. Kibale's like trying to get me back up. She's like, we gotta go, we gotta go. Book it out for the exit. We're like, let's just go. We need to get out of here. We're running through this corn maze. This guy jumps out at us with a chainsaw. Me and Holly go flying across the gravel into the corn maze. We're in the corn. We're almost getting up. I try and catch up with the others and then I realize Holly's still on the ground and the guy is over with her. So I run back, I get Holly, but my purse, he has my fricken purse. Grab her purse, run back. Everybody else is like, what the fuck, what the fuck. And it was funny until it wasn't and we were like, I'm going to, I'm crying. Okay, then came, then came the third one, a slaughterhouse. Part about this one that I found really scary was we had to walk across this one bridge that kept going like bouncing up and down. And as we're trying to run across this bridge, this like animated big ass, what is that called? A horthog. Yeah. Everyone is jumping. So we're like, we're being thrown around and then this horthog jumps out at us and we this much room. So we're like, we slam into the wall and we keep running and we're running. Don't remember anything else that happened. Then came the third one and this one is the way down. Let me just preface this by saying both of us have a terrible fear of the dark, okay? You put a hood on your heads and you have to completely guide yourself through with a rope. So me and Kibale have one hand on the rope and one and holding hands with each other. Holding each other. We're like, we're not letting go this whole time. Like this and people are like grabbing your hands, grabbing the backs of your ankles. Yeah, I'm like trying, I'm like, I don't like the ankles. They grab my ankles more. Yeah. What's wrong with you? And this mask is like from me hyperventilating from the freaking dark all the way down my throat and I'm like, I'm like, wait, Holly, wait. Right before we enter another sea can, there's like these black curtains to like not let you see what's inside. Me and Holly are standing outside the black curtains. I'm standing here, Holly's standing beside me and I'm like, just wait, just wait. Like I need to like catch my breath because I'm like like asthmatic and I have a hood over my face. It's in my mouth. I can't breathe. And so I'm trying to get this mask out of my mouth, fix it on my face properly and get the hair out of my face. As soon as I do that, I said, okay, okay, I'm good. Let's go. Turn, Holly's gone. Where'd she go? I was picked up by one of the workers and brought into this room. My hands were guided onto a rope. I'm screaming, Kibale, where are you? Kibale, where are you? Like I was fully picked up. And so I'm like, I'm literally, I'm standing there. I fear enters my entire body and I go, Holly? Holly? And then I feel this hand touch me like this and then they grab me and they pull me into thing. I'm like, oh my god, okay. I hear Holly go, Kibale? Who's hand am I holding right now? If you're into scary things, if you're into like horror movies, true crime stories, murder mystery, this is your shit. If you're afraid of the dark, don't do the mask one though.
