Valve has added a new hero to Deadlock, and the level of detail that has gone into him is absurd. Rat King has 1,534 recorded voice lines in total, which already puts him among the most voiced characters in the game. But the detail that has gone viral is this: 126 of those lines are tied specifically to his Rat Swarm ability, in which he throws rats at enemies - and he calls out each individual rat by name as he throws them. Players have been compiling the full list of rat names from the files and the variety is impressive - a mix of regal names, mundane human names, and deeply unhinged choices that suggest whoever wrote the lines had a very good time doing it. It is exactly the kind of detail that nobody asked for and everybody loves.
