Police: Texas Father Tried to Reach His Children During Alleged Stabbing Attack 🚨 NEW DETAILS FROM THE NORTHLAKE STABBING CASE — AND THIS PART IS HORRIFYING. A North Texas father reportedly called 911 early Tuesday morning after police say his wife, 37-year-old Holly Leeann Flores, stabbed him inside their home. But according to Northlake Police Chief Robert Crawford, the father wasn’t only trying to protect himself. He was reportedly trying to get to his children. The chief says the children were in another room — but the father allegedly had to retreat outside because Flores was still trying to stab him. When officers entered the home, they found a 3-year-old girl and a 10-month-old baby boy, both suffering from stab wounds to the chest. Now there is at least some encouraging news: Detectives have told the chief that the children are stable, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and they are expected to be okay. The father was also hospitalized with injuries to his head. When reporters asked whether Flores’s alleged behavior appeared to surprise her husband, the chief said the father was initially reluctant to provide much information — but emphasized that his focus appeared to be almost entirely on his children. Think about that sequence for a second. Police say a father is being attacked. His two babies are somewhere else inside the house. He is reportedly trying to reach them. And he ultimately has to retreat outside to survive the attack himself. Flores has been taken into custody and is facing two attempted-murder charges and one aggravated-assault-with-a-deadly-weapon charge, according to police. There is still much we do not know about what allegedly happened inside this home or what led up to it. But thankfully, tonight, the update we wanted most is this: Those two little children are expected to survive. The investigation remains ongoing, and the charges are allegations unless and until proven in court. #HollyFlores #NorthlakeTexas #TexasCrime #BreakingNews #TrueCrime
