There’s a difference between a passing SCORE and a pass RATE! 👏 You need a 70% or higher to pass the CPC credentialing exam. But when you’re choosing a training program, ask what percentage of their students are actually passing the exam. Industry estimates commonly place the first time CPC pass rate around 50 to 60%. AAPC previously completed a case study on SMC Academy when our pass rate was 75%.
