This ain’t an everyday thang but every store trip isn’t picture perfect. With autism comes big feelings and with Bug being nonverbal it’s hard to express his feelings and desires. I’m not mad at him but we will take a long walk and have a conversation about what happened and how to navigate our feelings moving forward. I’m not upset with him and I won’t beat myself up either for trying to introduce him to new things in life, even if it wasn’t what he was expecting. We tried and I’m proud of us for that.
