Okay, so I had no idea that spider webs were controversial until I put this one up on this railing and I got so many comments letting me know that this type of webbing is highly unsafe for wildlife and insects. They recommended that I use beef netting and I had never heard of it before. I didn't even know what they were talking about, but I looked it up and I did find it. That will be in my link tree in my bio if you're interested in what I purchased. So, I'm going to go ahead and change this out for a more environmentally friendly option. Hoping I have enough to do in between the pillars in front of the house because I want to make spiders. That'll be another DIY craft coming to you guys, so let's get into it. Hopefully, this is relatively easy to remove, but I am noticing, obviously as I'm doing this, that it is sticking to absolutely everything. So, I don't know why it never dawned on me that this could actually be very unsafe. So when I bought this, I know that it said that it comes uncut, which is my preference, right? Because then I get to dictate what the spider web looks like, but this is what it looks like and this is my first impression of it. It looks like cheesecloth. It looks like one big sleeve, but I think I'm going to cut the sleeve down the center and then try to just use like half of it instead of like wrapping it completely around, if that makes sense. Forgive me, anyone is a pro at this and you guys are just screaming at me through the screen and being like, don't do it that way. Now, they do sell really gigantic rolls of this, but I didn't get a big gigantic roll because I didn't want to buy more than I knew what to do with. And if it turned out to be a fail, I didn't want to be like financially invested in the beef netting. Kind of pull it taut or just tie it. That's exactly what I'm going to do. It's really easy to manipulate like that. So now what people do is they just cut holes in it. I'm going to stop here for the railing. I'm going to see how much I have to see if I can do a spider web anywhere else, so let's go. I have an idea. These little nails and a hammer and I'm going to try to hammer for connection points. Anything is possible in a skirt and some boots. This is where I'm going to stop. I'll show you both spider webs up close. Anyways, thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this video and I will catch you guys in the next one.
