The St. Louis Halloween event we NEVER skip as a family! 🎃 Legends & Lanterns returns to Historic Main Street in St. Charles THIS WEEKEND, and if you’ve never been, consider this your sign to add it to your fall bucket list! 🍂 Think interactive characters, festive treats, parades, music, incredible fall decorations, and SO many fun details to discover. Plus, it’s completely FREE and such a fun outing for the whole family! 🎃 LEGENDS & LANTERNS 📍 Historic Main Street, St. Charles, MO ✨ Free admission! 2026 dates + times: 🕯️ Oct. 10–11 | Sat 11 AM–6 PM • Sun 12–5 PM 🕯️ Oct. 17–18 | Sat 11 AM–6 PM • Sun 12–5 PM 🕯️ Oct. 23–25 | Fri 5–8 PM • Sat 11 AM–8 PM • Sun 12–5 PM 🎃 PUMPKIN GLOW ✨ Oct. 23 + 24 | 5–8 PM Hundreds of glowing pumpkins light up Main Street! 👻 TRICK OR TREAT ON MAIN 🍬 Oct. 30 | 3–5 PM This is a SEPARATE event where kids 12 and under can dress up and trick-or-treat at participating Main Street businesses! A few tips if you’re bringing little ones: 👻 It’s spooky, not scary — our girls weren’t scared at all, so I’d absolutely recommend it even for the littles! 🎃 Costumes are encouraged but not required! 🚶‍♀️ It’s stroller + walk friendly, but Main Street is cobblestone, so expect a bumpy ride! 🛍️ Some shops have limited space, so you may need to leave your stroller outside while you browse. 🍪 And whatever you do, get a cookie from @sugarandslicebakeryonmain or @grandmascookiesonmain! 🅿️ For parking, there’s street parking plus several nearby lots. We parked at the Lewis & Clark Boat House & Museum and it was a pretty short walk to Main Street.
