I'm a little late to the game, but let's try her method of making DIY shower oil. So I got some baby shampoo, this is hypoallergenic from the Dollar Tree. Two bottles of the Vitamin E from the Dollar Tree. So if this works, this should be a total a little under $5. But we're going to make it a little luxe by adding one of my favorite Arabian perfumes. We are going to use this Arabian oil, I'm forgetting the name right now but it will be on the screen, to add a little more scent. We will see what this all looks like when I get out the shower, but let's make her first. In the video she said to take half of this. So this is 10 oz and these are 4. So with the original container I don't really know the measurements, but if we're supposed to be using half of this, you obviously want the oil to be more. So these in total are going to be 8 oz. So let's see what we're we're working with. Okay, so we have about half, which actually seems like half the container, so that worked out perfectly. Let's add our oils. We are half and half. I think she had a little bit more oil in her mixture, but we do have just enough room to add some of our perfume oil, so let's add that in. This is what we're looking like. I'm going to give it just a gentle shake. I'm not going to go too crazy. I lied, we're going to give it a a good shake. Let's see how this looks after the shower. I zoomed out the shower so you guys could see as like a little towel dry. What I will say you're probably not going to get that shine from L'Occitane, but I definitely do feel very like hydrated, like I mean you can even kind of see it like that. I'm going to take a little bit of oil, put it on. I will say in the shower it was sudsing really nice and the fragrance smelled great. Like I looked amazing coming out the shower. Just once you like, you know, towel dry yourself, you're going to need moisture obviously, because this is not a high-end shower oil. I'm going to go in with my Saltair Coral Coast. This is what we are looking like. I honestly think this is a good thing to make. Obviously if you're just getting out the shower immediately and you do your routine, it's probably going to look better, but I'm like, I can't go on camera soaking wet, so I had to give a little towel dry. But I think mixed with another hydrating lotion, you are going to look really phenomenal. This looks good. I honestly think this is a good Dollar Tree hack and it's super simple to make and easy to just add on to your shower routine. And then if you also were using the L'Occitane, I seen some people saying they were using it before they shaved. I think that this is a great alternative, a great affordable alternative if you're wanting that similar vibe but you kind of want to cut the price or save that for a special time. So let me know what you guys are thinking. Would you try the Dollar Tree version of the L'Occitane body oil? Comment down below.
