styling psa. cardigans don't have to be boring. I'm going to show you three that I'm loving right now and how I plan on styling them for fall. The first cardigan is this really pretty dark brown. Tossed on top of a white tee, great for layering. I love doing just half the buttons. Such an easy piece to throw on this way. It's my favorite cardigan hack, which is simply wearing it backwards. You're still going to button it all the way down, but it gives you a nice high collar which I feel like is always so flattering. Then accessorizing with my great grandmother's vintage concho belt, cream leather handbag, and a pair of black sunglasses to sandwich it all together. This next outfit is actually a set. Popped on a little white tank underneath. This is great honestly as is, leaving it all the way buttoned up with a little bit of the tank showing. Also love it undone. For shoes, I'm going to keep with almost a monochromatic look. Pulling in a suede bag to match the suede shoes. Same black sunglasses as before, especially with the boxy shape of the sleeve, it's so good. Spicing it up with some pattern is always so fun and I love a striped cardigan. I do recommend keeping a couple buttons undone. It gives a little more visual interest this way. You could style just as a top like regular, but I'm actually going to fold it down like this and tie it around my waist. You're going to want to tie it right below the waistband to give you the look that everyone is doing. Bringing in some black accessories with the same black flip flops. You really just need a couple good pieces in your wardrobe and new styling ideas going into a new season. Let this be a reminder to have fun with your cardigans.
