My routine:
1️⃣ Dry brush with my @arellauk copper brush
2️⃣ Take a quick shower to rinse off any dead skin particles and flakes
3️⃣ Apply castor oil to damp skin. I purchase mine from @fushiwellbeing Exfoliation: Brushing sweeps away dead surface skin cells, so your oil sits on fresh skin, not flakes.
Smoother application: Castor oil is thick and sticky. On exfoliated slightly warmed damp skin it spreads more evenly and feels less heavy. Tip: warm castor oil between the palm of your hands to smooth the oil.
Softer skin: With the dead layer gone, castor oil sits more evenly on the surface, so skin feels softer.
Warmth + circulation: Brushing temporarily boosts blood flow, and that warm, tingly feel is so good before a massage or castor oil pack.
The ritual: Brush, rinse, oil. Those massage like strokes are a genuinely relaxing self care moment. About my copper brush:
It's designed to gently exfoliate while stimulating circulation and supporting your body's natural lymphatic flow, to leave skin feeling softer, smoother and radiant after each ritual.
• Made from pure copper fibres
• Naturally antimicrobial
• Plastic-free beechwood handle ⚠️ Tips: use a soft-to-medium brush, skip broken, sunburned, or irritated skin and don't brush until you're red or sore. If you have eczema, psoriasis, or sensitive skin, go extra gentle or skip it. 📖 Want the full step-by-step on using castor oil properly for skin, hair, sleep and more?
