Rejected by two of the most prestigious law schools in the country - but I still got my dream outcome ✨ When I left my six-figure career at the NFL to pursue law school in my 30s, I had no idea how my admissions cycle would play out. I applied to 8 schools: 5 acceptances, 1 waitlist, and 2 rejections. And some pretty generous scholarship offers along the way. But @Michigan Law was always my No. 1 choice. Maybe not the most conventional way to pick a law school, but after spending seven years working at the NFL, I was absolutely going to factor college football into my decision. Lucky for me, Michigan also happens to have a pretty incredible law school. Three years later, I graduated with zero student loan debt and not a single regret about where I chose to earn my J.D.
