Okay, how the hell am I supposed to track this mixed meals once it's all mixed together? Because I'm not separating the pasta, beef, and sauce every time I'm ready to eat. There's a much easier way, and once you see this, you'll never track mixed meals the same way again. So here's the trick. Add all your ingredients into one recipe in your food tracker. For this one, I used the whole box of pasta, the whole jar of sauce, and all of the beef. Now this is the important part. Once it's cooked and mixed together, weigh the entire amount in grams. Whatever that final weight is, make that the number of servings in your food tracker. This whole tub of beef pasta came out to 2.724 kilograms, or 2,724 grams. So I set the recipe to 2,724 servings. Now, 1 gram equals 1 serving. So if I put 480 grams on my plate, I just log 480 servings. That's it. No pulling your meal apart, no separating ingredients, no redoing the math. Just weigh it and log it. Save this now because the next time you make a big mixed meal, you're going to want this trick.
