I am proud of my culture. I am proud to be Lakota Sioux. I do not live in the past however you cannot erase history and children need to know what the truth actually is instead of completely leaving it out in history class. With that being said, I am also proud I served my country. I learned other cultures and respect them as I traveled the world learning different languages and mannerisms. I never would disrespect someone’s culture on their day. Crazy how many of you on this app are so comfortable disrespecting Native Americans.
