Our first family ofrenda is slowly coming together. 🧡 I added some flowers and finally got more of our family pictures framed. I still need to get marigolds and add a few more things, but I love how it's coming along. Vivienne, my autistic daughter, loves the movie Coco and has been talking about having an ofrenda of our own. I'm hoping this helps her connect the pieces when it comes to losing her dad and remembering all the other people we've loved and lost. I never imagined that at 43 years old, I'd be putting together an ofrenda for my husband. We were together for 26 years, and there are still days when I can't believe he's gone.
