After the presentation of Article II (unexplained wealth), House lead prosecutor Rep. Gerville Luistro expressed their intention to drop the three Articles of Impeachment filed against Vice President Sara Duterte. During her manifestation on Tuesday, Luistro affirmed that they will maintain their case regarding Duterte’s alleged unexplained wealth, asserting that sufficient evidence has been presented and calling it the most "judicious" way forward. "It has presented sufficient evidence for Article II to stand on its own. All in po tayo [r]ito. We believe that evidence is substantial and compelling, and warrants the respondent's removal from office for culpable violation of the Constitution and betrayal of public trust," she added. Presiding officer Chiz Escudero clarified that the Senate impeachment court has yet to make a decision on the manifestation made by Luistro.
