I’m excited to be attending NVIDIA GTC Berlin 2026, from October 20–22. Ahead of the conference, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang signalled plans to announce around $2 billion in new European AI deals, on top of roughly $8 billion deployed across Europe over the past year. That’s potentially $10 billion in AI investment and commitments shaping Europe’s next phase of technological transformation. What I’m most interested in exploring at GTC Berlin: • AI factories at gigawatt scale • Vera Rubin and accelerated computing • Lower cost per token • Sovereign AI and European AI infrastructure • OpenShell, BlueField-4 and Sentry • Enterprise AI factories and autonomous agents • Million-GPU networking • Power, grid resilience and sustainable AI • Physical AI and industrial applications The conference will bring together leaders from NVIDIA, Mercedes-Benz, Black Forest Labs, Shopify, Siemens Energy, L’Oréal, Revolut, Nokia, ElevenLabs, n8n and many more. One of the biggest questions for me is this: How will Europe turn AI infrastructure into real economic, industrial and sovereign advantage?
