SHE FINALLY PROPOSED AND THERE WAS A GIRAFFE!!!! 😭💍🦒❤️ Almost 10 years ago, my lesbian lover told me she wanted to marry me right away. I was madly in love with her too, but growing up in a broken home made me terrified of marriage. So I jokingly gave her TWO conditions: wait 10 years and make sure there’s a giraffe at the proposal. 😂 BFF, SHE TOOK BOTH VERY SERIOUSLY. For years, she’s taken me to see giraffes everywhere because she knows they’re my absolute favorite animals. But my biggest dream was always to visit Giraffe Manor in Kenya. This incredible woman made my dream travel spot the place where she asked me to be her wife. 🥹 We were having afternoon tea when everyone started distracting me with giraffes. We turned the corner toward the famous swing, and there were flowers everywhere and KELLY, ONE OF MY FAVORITE GIRAFFES!!! I was so busy feeding her that I almost didn’t notice my girlfriend getting down on one knee. 😭 …..the craziest part? When I stopped feeding Kelly, she STAYED WITH US FOR ANOTHER 15 MINUTES. It was like she knew something special was happening. 🦒❤️ We’ve already built a beautiful life together, with our home, our five dogs, and almost a decade of loving each other through every version of ourselves. Nothing about our love needed to change. But this moment was more magical than anything I could have dreamed of. The little girl who didn’t believe in marriage just said YES to her soulmate. 😭❤️ MY LESBIAN LOVER IS OFFICIALLY MY FIANCÉE!!!! And I cannot WAIT to spend forever being completely ridiculous with her. 😂💍 BFF, WOULD YOU HAVE GUESSED SHE WAS GOING TO PROPOSE WITH A GIRAFFE?! 🦒 #engaged #proposal #giraffemanor #wlw #Love
