LINK IN PROFILE for $0 program Women don’t suddenly start losing muscle and bone because they hit a certain age. A huge part of the problem is that women have spent decades being told to make themselves smaller. Use tiny weights. “Tone.” Don’t lift too heavy. Don’t get bulky. Do more cardio. Eat less. And then we reach our 40s, 50s and beyond and wonder why maintaining muscle, strength and bone density suddenly matters so much. Strength training isn’t about trying to look like a bodybuilder. It’s about building and keeping the muscle that supports your joints, helps protect your bones, keeps you capable, and allows you to keep doing the things you love as you get older. And yes — that means you need resistance that actually challenges you. Women were never supposed to spend their whole lives trying to take up less space. Getting older isn’t the time to become afraid of strength. It’s the time to BUILD IT. And it’s never too late nor too early to start ❤️ #strengthtrainingforwomen #strongwomen
