How is your dog being reactive toward other dogs my problem? 🤷♂️ We’re on a public sidewalk in a nature preserve on a Saturday morning. Your dog is wearing a muzzle leash, pulling ahead of you, sniffing oncoming dogs, and constantly looking back at my dogs. Meanwhile, I’m walking at a reasonable distance with my dogs on short leashes like a responsible owner, minding my own business, yet somehow that’s me “riding your ass,” as you murmured? Just because your dog keeps looking back at mine doesn’t mean I’m walking too close to you. If your dog can’t comfortably handle other dogs or animals on a public trail, maybe consider choosing a quieter trail with fewer people and dogs instead of expecting everyone else to accommodate you. Public trails are shared spaces, not your private property. And I’m attaching a little clip at the end to show just how unbothered my dogs are. I was busy adjusting Bear’s vest when another dog approached us from our blind spot. I wasn’t even holding Neko’s leash, and he was sitting calmly beside my car. Even when the black dog approached and walked right past us, Neko didn’t move an inch. No lunging, no barking, no pulling, not even an attempt to approach the other dog. That’s what proper training and impulse control look like. My dogs don’t need to react to every dog that crosses their path, and I’m certainly not responsible for managing someone else’s dog’s reactions. #fyp #foryoupage #foryou #viralvideo #viral
