Why it worked

The video uses a relatable 'which is better' comparison format that naturally highlights the product's superior features and price-to-value ratio, making the promotion feel like helpful consumer advice.

Summary

Three creators compare their respective vacuum-mop devices to determine which is the best. The creator with the Shark HydroVac highlights its self-cleaning feature and versatility on area rugs to win the comparison.

Structure

1Introduction of three competing vacuum-mop brands
2Comparison of features and cleaning capabilities
3Demonstration of the Shark HydroVac's self-cleaning mode
4Comparison of price points and current discount availability

Product placement

(a) Dyson: vacuum/mop, operated to demonstrate cleaning, acts. (a) Tineco: vacuum/mop, operated to demonstrate cleaning, acts. (a) Shark HydroVac: vacuum/mop, operated to demonstrate cleaning, acts. Removing these would change the video entirely. (b) TikTok: platform, appears as watermark/interface, removing it would not change the video.

I got a Dyson. I got Tineco. I got a Shark, so which one is better? I guess I'll go first since mine's the best. It can vacuum, mop, and sanitize your floors all at the same time. Yeah, we can all do that. Okay, big deal. Mine can do the exact same thing. Nope, mine can vacuum and mop at the same time, picking up wet messes, crumbs, spills, dirt and debris, leave your floors spotless. Whatever, at least mine's really easy to clean. You just got to take this off and then... Oh, that's disgusting. You have to clean yours by hand? Yeah. Do you have to clean yours by hand? No, mine's got a self-cleaning mode. Yeah, mine also has a self-cleaning mode that's going to clean the brush roll and the inside the machine, so then all you got to do is dump it right out. Okay, well how do you guys do on area rugs? Area rugs? Mine's just for hard floors. No. Oh well, that sucks. With mine you can use it to lightly wash your area rugs. You can use it on hard floor, tile, and even marble. How much did you spend on that Dyson? I only spent like $500. Seriously? Yeah, it's a premium vac mop. Well, mine was only 300. I got it on sale. Wow. See, mine's normally 300, but Shark just had some huge coupons and a link there, so you can get it for even less. But it looks like these extra coupons they have are only for a limited time and these have been selling like crazy, so if you still see a link below, I would try to grab one before they're all gone.
