As a Republican romance author in the very liberal dominated book industry, I will never give up my values for a seat at a table, whether that table is a bookstore or a publishing house or a book event. If my political beliefs aren't welcome, then I'm not interested in sitting at closed-minded tables. Political disagreement is not discrimination. I've been very open about the fact that I support ICE and I support the enforcement of our nation's immigration laws, and people on the left have tried to come after me saying that that's racist.
