I was thinking about this while I was working out. Would you still do accounting if there was no such thing as the CPA exam? So you would only be paid around $50,000 a year, but there's no level on top of that, right? A lot of people that go into accounting, they're going for the CPA exam and if you're not going for the CPA exam, there's literally no point in doing accounting. I know most people, if there was no such thing as a certified professional accountant, people wouldn't go into accounting. They would either go into finance or definitely supply chain. Accounting is one of the most boring careers you can do. I just can't see myself sitting on Excel for 30 years straight changing tables. I hate it so much.
