Iain Armitage, who played Sheldon Cooper for seven seasons on Young Sheldon, has opened up about why he was ready to move on when the series ended in 2024. The actor explained that while he enjoyed playing the character, he didn't want to spend his entire career portraying Sheldon as he grew older. “I would hate to be on a show playing 23-year-old Sheldon. That would suck.” His comments suggest that he was ready for new opportunities rather than being tied to the same character for years. The series ran from 2017 to 2024, ending after seven seasons and becoming one of television's most popular sitcom spin-offs. #pubity
