Why it worked

The video succeeds by leveraging the creator's authentic, relatable personality and her honest, unscripted reaction to a highly anticipated tech product, which resonates with viewers looking for genuine opinions rather than polished marketing.

Summary

The creator shares her first impressions of a folding iPhone model, expressing disappointment and comparing it to a regular phone despite the initial hype. She discusses her transition from an iPhone 14 Pro Max and mentions needing a new case to make the device feel more personalized.

Structure

1Creator introduces the folding phone
2Expresses skepticism about the device
3Compares the experience to her previous iPhone
4Discusses potential customization with a new case
5Concludes with uncertainty about the purchase

Product placement

iPhone Duo: (a) ACTS — the creator demonstrates the folding interface, opens apps, and discusses her experience using it as her primary device. Removing it would leave the video with no subject. Apple: (b) APPEARS — mentioned in the hashtag, but the product itself is the focus.

So I'm laid up. Um, I'm not going to lie. I'm not sure about this phone. There was a conversation about you. I'm too show about it, y'all. This is just so. I'm not going to lie, the folks in Tokyo are eating this down when it comes to Disney. We thought we were doing something with these two. I got a series of. This is cool. I put my PopSocket on there. However, I don't know y'all. I don't know. Y'all got to get your phone and tell me, but I don't, I don't even much know. I feel, I kind of feel like Boosie like this bitch regular. Like, I, I, I really almost feel like that. Maybe because it was so much hype towards getting the phone. Like, yeah, I'm going from a 14 Pro Max to this. Maybe I got to get my background together. I have to get another case because now my case is just so plain. I might add some jewels on there or something that might make me feel better. But I don't know y'all. I don't know.
