🚨PSA 🚨 Just over a year since this original post and thought it was a good reminder to share again!!! Postpartum hair loss x tiny wiggly fingers and toes = hair tourniquet risk! Luckily my husband is a pediatric ER doctor and we noticed it and removed it quickly with Nair but a hair tourniquet can be extremely dangerous for babies causing pain, swelling, redness, and tissue damage possibly leading to autoamputation if not promptly treated.
