Cheap shit from Dollar Tree that's just as good, if not better than the luxury stuff. And if you're over 50, you're gonna wanna save this list. Let's go. Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair is $88. Global Beauty Care Power Serum is $1.25, and here's the part that got me. It has 32 ingredients in it: peptides, niacinamide, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, and a retinoid. That's the same active list people pay $80 for. Paula's Choice 1% Retinol Treatment is $62. Global Beauty Care Retinol Facial Serum is $1.25 with the same retinoid, the same ceramides, and also the same hyaluronic acid, plus AHA and PHA to lift the dull layer off. After 50, that dullness is half the problem. Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream is $74. Global Beauty Care Retinol Skin Cream is $1.25. Same retinoid in a cream base, which is the format you want over 50, because a drying retinol serum on thin skin backfires. Doctor Dennis Gross's Hyaluronic Marine Booster is $72. Global Beauty Care Multi Vitamin Serum is $1.25. Same hydrating hyaluronic base, plus the vitamins doing the brightening. Tatcha's Rice Wash is about $40 for 4 ounces. Dermasil Oatmeal Facial Cleanser is $1.25. Oat is the gentlest cleanser there is, and if your face feels tight after washing, that's the cleanser stripping the barrier you spend the rest of your routine repairing. Fresh's Rose Toner is $46. Dermasil Toner is $1.25. No alcohol, no sting, which matters because after 50, a stripping toner does more harm than the thing you bought it for. Okay, but I saved the best dupe for last. The History of Whoo is a Korean luxury brand. Their eye cream runs well over $150. What the expensive Korean eye creams all have in common is one ingredient: adenosine. Adenosine is a molecule your body naturally makes. It's one of the few ingredients Korea's regulator officially recognizes for wrinkle care, which is exactly why it keeps showing up. Luxe makes a Korean under eye balm. It has that same adenosine plus PDRN, hyaluronic acid to plump, argan oil to soften, and collagen extract for firmer looking skin. It reduces the look of wrinkles by 30% in 4 weeks, and it's a fraction of the price. If you wanna give it a try, I don't think you'll regret it. It's way cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else.
