Have you ever noticed how in almost every zombie movie, the military acts completely clueless and gets overrun within minutes? Well, a solo developer just built a game that might finally fix that. It's called Ebbtide, and it blew up so fast it hit over 100,000 Steam wishlists in just three days! In the game, you command humanity's last carrier task force, starting right in the middle of a collapsing Los Angeles. The map mechanics are insane! You direct troops on a massive city map, but then you can zoom into any street, see the battlefield in real time, and all that with zero loading screens and truly mind-bending firepower at your disposal. You can set up fortified bases, call in airstrikes, or take direct control of a single soldier, tank, or Apache helicopter on the ground with a single button. But if you think that the immense firepower makes it easy for you, then think again. The zombies aren't just mindlessly charging at you. Their hive mind, the Nexus, can ambush convoys, cut off roads, and trap your troops. And if they die, they rise as the infected against you. Whatever survivors and gear you pull out of LA becomes your main fleet to reclaim the rest of the world later. Unfortunately, there's no release date yet, but it looks pretty impressive. What do you think? Would you survive this?
