Phantom Blade Zero has hit 700,000 concurrent players on Steam, making it the highest played single player game of 2026 on the platform. The milestone puts S-GAME’s debut title above every other single player release this year, including Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree numbers, Control Resonant, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. For a first game from a studio that nobody had heard of before its State of Play reveal, the numbers are staggering. The 91 on Metacritic clearly translated directly into sales, with word of mouth and creator coverage driving a player count that most established studios would be proud of. It is also worth noting that 700,000 concurrent players on Steam alone does not include PS5 sales, meaning the true player count is significantly higher. #phantomblade #phantombladezero #rpg #gamingnews
