Claude Code reportedly won't clone video games anymore. Users spotted a new rule around October 27 saying Claude can build original games, genre games, or games from your own designs, but not a recreation of a specific existing game, even if you rename it. There's no setting to turn it off, and Anthropic hasn't commented. Meanwhile, OpenAI says its blocks on reverse engineering, like cleaning spyware off your TV, were accidental and are getting fixed.
