i just cannot believe this is my life and mum (who’s been along this whole RMH journey with me) and i am donating $125,000 to such an amazing charity. 10 year old soph would be so beyond overjoyed, grateful, and in awe that we are able to do this. when i was 5 i began donating to RMHC by dropping off milk to the house weekly, doing chores around the house to make money to donate, and donating my christmas and birthday money. as i got older i began hosting holiday groups and activities with the families such as baking, crafting, making tie dye shirts. when i first started going to the house, it was just that… a house… a beautiful little house with a wooden dining table, a gorgeous little reception, a cozy fireplace, a small kitchen, and a small maccas play area outside. now 15 years later it is so different. it’s so bittersweet because the old house holds such a special place in my heart but now the new house is able to house soooooo many more families which makes me so so so happy. HUGE shoutout to FDC for doubling our donation and HUGE shoutout to you guys for making my dreams come true in being able to support RMHC in any way i can ❤️
