Why it worked

The video effectively demonstrates a clear 'before and after' transformation, showing the physical drawing becoming a digital game asset, which provides immediate proof of the product's value.

Summary

The creator demonstrates the Osmo interactive learning system, showing how it digitizes a child's physical drawing to incorporate it into an on-screen game. She recommends it as a guilt-free screen time option and encourages viewers to purchase it while it is in stock.

Product placement

(a) Osmo: its interface is operated, it generates a visible result from a drawing, and the creator says what it does for them. Removing it would change the video entirely. (b) iPad: it merely appears as the hardware platform for the Osmo app. Removing it would not change the video as long as another tablet were used.

Transcript

As you play the board and draw an iron gate. Solid lines, a good shape. It'll make an excellent doorway to adventure. It pulls in your child's drawing on the screen and makes it apart of the story. Parents, I've finally found a way to make screen time feel way less guilty and it's so fun. This is Osmo, an interactive play monster that turns screen time into hands-on learning. The coolest part is whatever drawing your kids make, Osmo brings their creation to life right on the screen. While they're on sale and still in stock, I would grab it up. I'll link it below.
