Promoted product

TikTok Shop

Why it worked

The video leverages a specific, time-bound financial incentive (15% off) combined with the relatable, high-intent activity of early holiday shopping, making the promotion feel like helpful advice rather than a hard ad.

Summary

The creator discusses her early Christmas shopping on TikTok Shop and highlights a promotional deal where users can get 15% off by using PayPal during the 'PayPal Deal Days' event. She showcases several items she is considering purchasing while explaining the savings mechanics.

Structure

1Introduction to shopping on TikTok Shop
2Announcement of PayPal Deal Days promotion
3Explanation of the 15% discount mechanic
4Showcase of potential gift items
5Final endorsement of the deal

Product placement

TikTok Shop: (a) ACTS — it is the platform where the creator is shopping and where the deals are applied. Removing it would change the entire premise of the video. PayPal: (a) ACTS — it is the payment method required to unlock the 15% discount. Removing it would change the promotional offer.
