SAVE THIS FOR YOUR NEXT INTERVIEW In most interviews, the intro question is tell me about yourself or introduce yourself. People usually start by saying I am Santhosh, I am managing marketing team and they really don't know where they start and where they end. But you know what exactly recruiters are looking for? Recruiters are looking to understand your vibe, your energy and most importantly how you can sell yourself or convince others. The best way to explain is to keep your answer short and to the point. Start with your name, your education, your experience and explaining why you are qualified for this job. Your strength and weakness. Keep it under two to three minutes maximum. For an example, I can say like I am Santhosh Kannan, an digital marketing expert with extensive experience in building and growing digital team from scratch. My experience in fashion and retail can greatly benefit your organization. In addition to marketing, I have experience in data analytics, storytelling and copywriting. This cannot be closed without addressing my drawback. I am impatient and sometimes my attention to detail lead to delayed few projects. Don't forget to add your weakness as well. You will gain confidence by being open and honest.
