Leonardo DiCaprio has invested millions in environmental friendly businesses. In 2010 the hit film "Inception" earned him $50 million. Over time he has accumulated a net worth of about $300 million which he has used to back sustainable companies. In 2017 DiCaprio became one of the early investors of Beyond Meat. Its shares hit an all time high in 2019 and now the company keeps a market cap of about $903 million. The actor also invested in the UK-based vegan footwear brand LOCI. The sneaker brand raised 4.5 million a year after its launch. Another sustainable startup in his portfolio is VitroLabs.
