Welcome to SaaS 101. I'm gonna teach you everything you need to know about SaaS and how to make money with it so simple a five-year-old could understand. First things first, what even is SaaS? SaaS, otherwise known as Software as a Service, is just a software that runs on a third-party server through the internet. That basically just means that it's software that you don't have to download because it's hosted on the internet. Some examples of SaaS that you probably use all the time are Netflix, Google Docs, and Zoom. But let's take a look at how much money people spend on SaaS worldwide. This is a graph from 2015 to 2024, and it just goes straight up. And that's 232 billion with a B. Now you're probably thinking, okay, 232 billion, that's a shit ton of money. How can I get my hands on a piece of that? Well, the simple answer to that question would be to just make your own SaaS software, but there's a small problem with that. A SaaS software can cost up to $150,000 to build. And I don't know about you, but I don't know how to code and I don't just have 150k lying around to go build a SaaS. But you're not out of luck because there's something called white label SaaS that you can start with no money and no coding experience. White label SaaS is when you take a software, rebrand it with your own logo, reprice it, and then resell it as your own software. Sounds kind of crazy, but there's actually companies that let you do this. The one I like to white label is an all-in-one marketing and automation software for small business. And these businesses will pay you $500 to $1,000 per month. The best part is there's absolutely no competition right now. Look, there's only 20,000 total people doing this right now in the whole world. I've been doing this for about a year now, and I was actually able to turn down a six-figure engineering job to do this full-time. I'm teaching other people how to do this for completely free. I made a free course and I have a discord server, so if you wanna learn, go check it out.
