One of the biggest mistakes that I made when I first started selling digital products was feeling like I was being too salesy. I get this all the time from students where they're saying, I don't wanna sell everyday. I don't wanna be salesy. I really had to have a major perspective shift to realize that I needed to be selling everyday. Cause at the end of the day, selling equals serving your audience. If you don't sell to your audience, guess what? They're never going to learn from you and you are never going to make it as someone who sells digital product. So do whatever you have to do. Get a sticky note, write it on your wall. Selling equals serving. Find ways to serve your audience that presents your digital product as the solution to their problem. And I promise it won't feel salesy. Make sure that you are selling every single day. Ways that I sell every single day include posting a reel (almost) every single day that has a call to action that directs them to either my freebie or my paid digital product. Posting stories with testimonials and giving them context. So I never just post a story on Instagram and you know, give a testimonial, leave it blank with no nothing around it. And it does nothing for you. When I post a testimonial, I will put the screenshot of the testimonial on my story and then I will give it some context like, wow, this person got this for me and this is the result that they had. Other things you can do everyday to sell is sending an email, posting a TikTok video. Selling does not mean that you are showing up everyday saying, buy my product. No, it's how you're positioning yourself everyday. And you need to position yourself as the solution to your audience's problem.
