Complete tutorial on my stained glass pantry door thanks for asking so I started out with one of those old fashioned pantry doors and this is what I did to it I went to Hobby Lobby I picked out some glass in a bunch of warm shades red yellows oranges cleaned up around the perimeter of the existing door and then I taught myself very simply how to cut glass I used a wheel that I bought at Hobby Lobby and and I just kind of made up sizes I wanted them all rectangular but I didn't want them 100% perfect because then I would have made myself crazy that they weren't 100% perfect so I made them you know kind of all the same level of imperfect that was too imperfect then I had also these tiles from just a sheet that I had one single sheet of these long skinny mirror tiles and once they were all cut I just laid the door down and started piecing them together like a puzzle getting a gradient where the red blended with the orange and the orange to the yellow some of them were translucent some of them were opaque which gave me a lot of different textures and elements to play with and I got really really particular about some of those details and then after many hours of just putting them all down they were still not done uh it took about 2 3 days is of like coming back to it and then I used Weld Bond glue and one by one I glued them in place I tried to get the glue really solid underneath each piece so that once I grouted it the grout would not slip under the glass um and then I'm all in place you can see they have different textures and like slight variations and then one of my viewers told me to do with Weld Bond Wash which is where you take the Weld Bond glue water it down and then paint it into all the cracks and crevices between the glass for that exact same reason so it creates a seal and the grout can't squeeze itself underneath the glass that was a huge huge tip I don't remember who gave it to me but I am so grateful because it made all the difference I got some store bought grout uh unsanded and I just laid it in as if it was tile and you can see this there wiped it down after it had dried a little bit cleaned up all the details there it was once everything was in place my husband help me bring it into the house and the light coming through is spectacular and when I put it up in the door frame and at night it just glows it's just so beautiful it looks like fire but not like scary fire it's like happy fire and uh anybody could do it really the cutting of the glass wasn't very difficult a little bit time consuming took a little time to get used to but not super not super difficult and um it really obviously makes a huge impact I love it I hope you like it too

Thanks for asking. So I started out with one of those old fashioned pantry doors and this is what I did to it.
