Minecraft movie is gonna suck. I know, it's sad to say, but hear me out. First, it's gonna be live action. Yeah, the game that's known for being made out of blocks and pixels is gonna be turned into a live action movie. Just imagine the Lego movie, but without any Legos. Like it doesn't make any sense to me at all. An animated movie would be 1000% better. It's also gonna star Jack Black as Steve. Yeah, you heard that right. Steve, the adventurer with seemingly endless energy, is gonna be played by Jack Black. He's a really good actor, don't get me wrong, but certain roles suit him much better. However, my main concern with the movie is that I can't see how Minecraft's game mechanics are gonna blend with real life. Like is Jack Black gonna punch a tree for wood to start the movie? Then go around the map with a water bucket to prevent his legs from shattering to pieces, and then kill the final boss with a few beds? Like I said.
