Youtube Hollywood Might Suck

I'm so torn about the backrooms making YouTube movies into something that Hollywood genuinely wants to make. Because on the one hand, people say backrooms was a very good movie, and even if it wasn't to everyone's expectations of what the backroom should be, a lot of people thought it was an extremely high quality, extremely enjoyable movie. But the reason I'm torn is that I've seen how Hollywood and corporatization just takes the ideas that I love and just mishandles them without any care. Like, I don't think the backrooms movie and Kane Parsons was such a good director and film combo because it came from YouTube. I don't think it's because YouTube is some gold mine for ideas. And while I think there are plenty of good ideas on YouTube, it's ultimately because Kane Parsons is a good director who loved the art that he was making and the people around him and the team that he cultivated made a good film. The thing that worries me is that I don't think that Hollywood will do this. I mean, we've seen what even like, companies that have crazy reputation to hold up, like Disney will just pump out slap after slap after slap even though. But seemingly isn't that profitable or it isn't even getting any high ratings. Like, they're just doing it to do it. Don't get me wrong, I would love a director who had like, some absolutely amazing vision and some crazy skills. An awesome team made a beautiful film about like some analog horror or the S. C. P. Foundation. I'd love that, but I just fear that it's probably gonna be turned into a slopathon of stolen YouTube ideas. Because no disrespect. I think the Five Nights at Freddy's movie was kind of funny. I think the Minecraft movie was kind of funny. But calling either of them amazing cinematic masterpieces, it's not really true. Right? Like, they were funny. They were kind of enjoyable for some people. Not everyone agrees. But they weren't exactly what I'd want out of something like the S. C. P. Foundation movies or the freaking analogue horror movies. I wouldn't want them to be Slopathon. I would want them to be good movies.
