Here are 5 beginner level courses that you can take to start learning about AI for free that all come with professional certificates. Before we get into it, my name is Helena and this is Espresso AI where I share non-technical AI education and tips to help try and close the AI literacy gap. If you're interested in learning more about AI and how you can practically implement it in your everyday life, then make sure you're following along and you bookmark this video so you can come back to it for later. All of these courses are available for free on Coursera and the first one is Prompt Engineering Basics by IBM. This is really going to give you that foundational training in prompt engineering techniques and how to write effective prompts to get the most out of AI tools. Next up is Generative AI for Everyone by DeepLearning.AI. If you don't have any kind of technical background or you've never used any kind of AI before, then this is the course that I would recommend that you start with because it's going to explain to you exactly how generative AI works, its common use cases and what the technology can and can't do. Number 3 is one of my favourites and once again this is by DeepLearning.AI and it's called AI for Good. This course really makes you think about how we can come together to leverage the potential and positive outcomes of AI to solve some of the world's most pressing problems. There's case studies on public health, on climate change, also on disaster management. And number 4 is an introduction to Microsoft Copilot by Microsoft. If you work in an environment where Microsoft is the predominant software that you use, then this free training and professional certificate is going to help you get ahead, especially as we see Microsoft integrate more and more generative AI in their native software. And finally, this one is the most technical and that is an introduction to image generation by Google Cloud. This is going to give you the core principles behind generating images in Vertex AI. The plus side is it's only actually going to take you 19 minutes to complete and get the certificate. The downside is, as I said, it is the most technical, so you might want to start with some of the other courses first until you build up your confidence with using these tools.
