One thing to know about me is that I may sluff for audiobooks and I listen to basically an audiobook a day. The last week I've listened to five Elsie Silver audiobooks, so let's get into it. This is literally the order that I read them in. I recently finished Wild Side which was released yesterday. Really, really great book. I loved it. I love Reese's character. I love how it ended. It just left me like smiling and kicking my little feet. I think it was really cute. It is the darkest and the deepest in terms of like the trauma and like what they go through together. If you're looking for a book that has a lot of spice throughout, this is not it. This takes a really long time to get to any spice because you're navigating like really dark subjects. They talk about like childhood trauma, drug abuse and death, so that's in there. I will say though, my favorite of all these so far is Wild Love. I know everyone is like a Weston Beaumont which is Wild Eyes or a Cade which is Heartless girlie, and I do love them, don't get me wrong, but there is something about Ford Grant that like rich dick energy that I'm very, very into. And the way he swoops in in Wild Side to like help, I just. There is something about Ford Grant that just gets me. Like a man who yearns for a decade, who like knows he's in love with like one woman, that gets me. That alone just seals the deal for me. And that is just so much more attractive to me than a man who like sees a woman and he's like, okay, like she's so hot, like whatever. Like no. Ford Grant is the blueprint to me for the perfect man. Rich, yearns, pines, loves, obsessed. That's Ford Grant. Also another controversial opinion, I don't like Teddy Hamilton. I don't like, he has narrated a few books. I really didn't like his narration in Wild Eyes. It was too much. He was doing too much. He was too gravelly, too like just going too hard on it. I really like Josh Morgan. He also has like an alias that he goes by. I've listened to most of his like books. So good. But anyway, that is my opinion on the last five Elsie Silver books I've listened to. I will now start reading the rest of her Chestnut Springs series and then I'm going to go to her Gold Rush series. But that's my opinion.
