Barcode Scanner
Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
today I'm gonna take you with me to show you how I make money by spending money at places like Marshalls. I actually used to do this in college and it would make me some really good side money. Most I ever did was I would take 500 bucks and then I would turn that into a thousand, a thousand and turn it into 1500 or two grand and then I would kind of stop and spend that money on what I needed for expenses that month. But what I'm gonna challenge myself with this time around is I wanna turn 500 into 10,000. I don't know how long that's gonna take me, but my goal is like 3-4 months. I think I can make that happen and I'm just gonna take you guys along for that entire process. So right now I'm gonna start in the pet section. I remember that pet supplies sold really, really good on Amazon. Before I get into it, what Amazon FBA is is not drop shipping. This is literally just me buying a bunch of products and then I ship it to Amazon and then Amazon does all of the selling, customer service, packaging, all of it. First thing I look for is something that has a lot of products. So for example, I'm just gonna try this one. And then all you need is an app like this. This one's called Barcode Scanner, it's specifically for Amazon and then you're just gonna scan the barcode of the item and you're gonna click on Profit Calculator. The item price is what it's selling for on Amazon currently and then you're gonna put in the item cost. So this is what I'm actually spending on this item, for example, is currently selling for 13. We're just gonna put in 13 and then I put in like a fake shipping cost just to like keep myself safe cause I don't know exactly what it's gonna cost to ship this. I'm gonna put in a dollar. All we really care about is looking down here and looking at the profit. So you'll see it's in the negative. So negative five dollars is the profit. We want the profit margin to be at least 40%. 50% is always my goal and I wanna make at least five to 10 dollars per item. As you start doing it more and more you can usually kind of tell what is gonna be a good one. You basically want the price that is... sorry I had to... you basically want it to be selling on Amazon for twice the cost that you're gonna spend on it. Okay we finally found something. Pet de-shedding tool and it's on clearance and there is a crap ton of them which is great. Really good ranking super low which we want. We are buying them for 13 and this is pretty good. So we would make seven dollars and thirty cents per each sold, about a 25% profit margin. So in total there's 13 of these. So if we make seven dollars and thirty cents times each one and there's 13 of them, this in itself would make us already $100 of profit. These are really light, really easy to ship. That Amazon ranking that you saw in there that was like a thousand whatever, that means that they're selling pretty quickly. Guys, what is it about Marshalls and TJ Maxx that makes you have to go to the bathroom when you get here? There's like something in the air. Struck a little bit of gold again in the skin care section which pep talk for myself, I don't need more skin care. I always like to look at the ones that are consider more expensive in the containers but like this is only $10 and it's selling for 30 on Amazon. For example, the profit margin here almost 40%, I would make 12.44 per item. There are 81 sellers, but I'm not too concerned about that because the BSR is really good and we got five of them, so that would make us $62. And there's only two of these but these are selling for 16.99 here. They're selling for 69, I will make $36 on each of them. So this is a really good profit margin, 53%. Sent two of these, so 36 times two, so we're gonna make 70 bucks profit just off these two alone. Now we're in the makeup section. The Milk Pore Eclipse Matte setting spray, so 13 bucks, selling on Amazon for 38. It's gonna cost us 13 and that's the profit we'd make for each. 14 times six of them would make $84 in profit. So I'm gonna get these. I was just about to give up and call it a day because I had to go to the bathroom this entire time too. The best find of the entire day. Neck cream, it sells on Amazon for 99 and then it's selling here for 20 and look at that 60% profit. I've like nerding out so hard on this but I literally make sixty bucks per each of these. Ended up getting all of them, so there's eight of these. I think we're gonna call it a day. Let me show you guys how much we spent. The line is really long and I'm getting overstimulated, so I am ready to check out right now. Now all I have to do is list them on Amazon for approval and then get them boxed and shipped to Amazon. Save this video or just follow me because I'm literally gonna walk through step by step making videos of the entire process on this account so that you can learn how to do this too. It's super simple and super easy and I want more people to know about it without having to go and pay for a course.
