This is going to release the oils from the lemon, that punch of lemon flavor you need in your recipe. Melt some butter and beat it with the sugar mixture. Add in eggs, sour cream, milk, lemon juice, vanilla extract, then mix. Add your flour and all your dry ingredients. Fold in your poppy seeds. Do not overmix your batter. Top it off with a beautiful lemon simple syrup.

Lemon Poppyseed Muffins! 🍋🌷 I have been dreaming about making lemon poppyseed muffins all week so I had to make some. I used BromaBakery's recipe and added a lemon simple syrup to glaze the top of the muffins immediately after they came out of the oven.
