Stay at the tallest building in Vietnam with me. This was my solo stay at the tallest building in Vietnam. Let's get into it. I stayed at the Landmark 81 Vinpearl, which is the tallest building in the country. 81 floors high, it's actually one of the tallest buildings in Southeast Asia, which is crazy and it's taller than the Eiffel Tower, which is equally as crazy. Could you imagine staying in the Eiffel Tower? From the outside, it looks like something out of a futuristic movie, and once you walk in, the lobby is all marble, glass, and really dramatic lighting. Very, you've arrived. Ha ha, okay. I booked the panoramic view on the 63rd floor and the views were unreal. Floor-to-ceiling windows for the entire room and it made me feel like I was floating over Ho Chi Minh City. Like, morning or night, the skyline looked like it was wrapped around me, literally. Like, I'll never get over this view. It was insane. The room was so peaceful and it had a really big soaking tub in there. I'm so sad I didn't take a bath in it, but the room was just kind of that calm that makes you slow down and just be. The average rate is around 200 to 250 dollars a night plus taxes and fees, which honestly felt like a steal for how nice this was. I also did the club level upgrade, which meant private check-in and access to a lounge on the 70th-something floor. I can't remember, but they had wine and snacks and desserts and the views while you sit up there, very cute. Okay, it was very much giving. If you don't have club level, that's okay. That really was the only main difference and club level people get a higher room, but if you don't have club level, you can still access the Cloud Sky Lounge, which everyone has access to, and honestly, in my opinion, it was better than the club lounge and it had an area where you could walk outside. It was really, really pretty. Skyline view, soft music. I think they did a happy hour as well, too. I actually didn't get to spend much time here. I came on my last day and that was totally a mistake. The rooftop pool was another fave of mine at the hotel. It's outdoors and the views while you're swimming, again, all the views in this hotel were insane. You're floating above the city with skyscrapers and mountains out in the distance and I stayed until the sun dipped. If you do need to come back down to earth though, since you're so high up, there is a mall right underneath the hotel, like you don't even have to leave the hotel. Full luxury mall, like bubble tea, skincare, Uniqlo, all kind of stuff. The staff at the Vinpearl, 10 out of 10. They were so kind and helpful. They wouldn't even let me touch my bags. They always were touching my bags or making sure my hands were free. When I was having breakfast every morning, they knew me by name and would get my tea ready. Really love them. They made the stay super special. This hotel also has a spa and it was beautiful and it was a really great massage as well. They also have a gym with floor-to-ceiling windows, so I did get to work out a bit. I did more cardio here because why not take advantage of the treadmills facing that view? I got the breakfast package with mine, so that means breakfast was included every morning and breakfast was like some live food stations and made-to-order eggs and I think like toast and stuff like that. And then the rest was like a buffet and I'm not a buffet girl, but the food was so good. And then they had like pastries all around, all different kind of pastries. I had got this strawberry one with this cream inside. It was so good and the staff just was so nice. They always brought me tea in the morning and I love eating here every morning. I'm not gonna lie, like it was so good. Dinner was super pretty. I ate at the hotel during sunset one of the nights I was there and the whole restaurant feels like it lit up gold and pink. It was just quiet, cozy. I sat by the window like I was in a movie and of course I had to try the oxtail and wagyu pho that they're known for. First of all, the bowl was bigger than my head and I'm not even exaggerating. The broth was rich, deep, flavorful. I tried to finish it but it was just too big. And yes, this is a Marriott property, so I was stacking up my Bonvoy points the whole time. I love staying at Marriott properties. I feel like they have some of the most unique hotels around the world. This hotel was a whole experience and I really recommend people stay here when they come to Vietnam.
