We just raised $500,000 from the best accelerator program in the world. So Y Combinator is basically like Shark Tank for tech founders and they've had just a crazy alumni list of companies that have gone through like Stripe, Airbnb, Instacart, Coinbase, even Reddit. They get over 30,000 applicants per cycle and they run four cycles per year. And if you get in, they only take 200 companies. They'll give you half a million dollars and then they try to help you build your startup. A lot of people assume that there's some secret sauce that they teach you in YC that is the reason why all these companies are successful. But it's really just about being around 200 other cracked founders who are hitting their revenue goals every single week and motivating you to get something done. The other major hack is that there's a demo day at the end of the program. And so they round up all the big investors in Silicon Valley, throw them in a room and then make them compete for your attention. So kind of flips the fundraising model on its head. And we just found out we got in. So we'll see if it lives up to the hype.
