I think Trump just made the most aggressive move in AI history and nobody's even talking about it. The Trump administration just released America's AI action plan and this will either terrify you or you will look at it as the greatest opportunity of this generation. In this document Trump is basically saying to remove all regulation and let AI grow as fast as possible and let the American people grow AI as fast as possible. He believes that if we can move faster and scale faster than everyone else, then the world's AI future is basically going to revolve around the United States. The three biggest things this document talks about are removing the Biden administration's current regulations. The second thing they're going to do is build AI infrastructure, meaning they are going to pour funding into the hardware so that we can use AI at scale. And then the third and most interesting thing is that he's pushing the entire country to start learning how to use AI. So from grade school to like worker retraining, they are basically trying to teach everyone how to use AI and also profit from AI. So thinking about this action plan in terms of right and wrong is the incorrect way to think about this. The reality is this is the only choice that the US has because it is human nature to want to progress as fast as possible. And AI is changing everything. It's progressing so fast that the reality is we just have to keep up with it. Things are going to break. The Trump administration knows that. They are going to be problems within the next few years, but we're just going to have to fix them as they come along. It's the only way to stay ahead. You have to be reckless. And this is what this is.
