I launched a Christian Planner Business in 2023 and it totally flopped. I had this vision of creating an all-in-one planner, something simple but powerful with no fluff. A tool to help you grow, stay organized, build holy habits, but was also modern and minimal. The problem was I tried to do it all alone and it just wasn't working. So I went back to the drawing board. God placed it on my heart so clearly to try again, but this time build a team and build with him. To trust him and not be afraid when it came to investing. I realized I was lacking obedience and trust in him when I tried to control it all myself. So in 2024, I redesigned every detail from the thread colors to foil tones, adding new products, creating the boxes and logos, down to every detail with the stickers, the postcards, the ribbon. I wanted to give the customers a full branding experience. We invested $30,000 into inventory and packaging and all startup costs. This was truly the Lord's doing that we were even able to do this. Through it all, God kept reminding me, I will be with you. Fast forward again to one year later and now we have digital planners, corduroy notebooks, hats, spiral editions, and we are now launching our new edition next month. We are also adding to our line with new products that I will announce very soon. It's been a huge blessing to build this community and hear from you guys how these planners are truly helping you in your walk with Jesus. Now trust me, this process has not been easy, but he has truly been with me. I prayed for a team to help me and to find the right people that would be a great fit, and he blessed me with a full team of interns that are now helping us. Ask and you shall receive. I've learned to be obedient in this process and to understand that this is beyond me. I'll never claim that Living in Light will transform you, only Jesus can do that, but I do believe he's called us to create tools that help you stay obedient, organized, and present with him daily.
