my ipod's broken. so let's code a new one. when i was a kid, i used to spend hours on it every day. eventually, it stopped working, or maybe i just lost the charger. so i designed the pixel ipod. it has the same shape, the same scroll wheel, and the same blue color. i started by sketching the ui and designing the app. i wanted a scroll wheel that actually spins because if it doesn't click, it isn't an ipod. i added other colors so you can swap styles, like changing a case when i was a kid. i used to steal my mom's credit card to buy songs on itunes. but now, i use spotify. normally, connecting an app to spotify would mean creating developer accounts and struggling with api keys. on replit, i logged in with connectors, and my app instantly connected to spotify. and now all my songs live on my digital ipod. the scroll wheel clicks the way i remember. and to make it even better, with one click, i deployed my app so i can take my music anywhere. i can finally listen to my ipod again and so can you. check out the description for my replit app.
