And so it says, he was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory. Please be with me in all that I do and keep me from all trouble and pain. And God granted him his request. Ooh, that is so good. The first time I ever heard that Bible verse, I would pray that over myself. But just know, when God expands your territory, that means it's going to require another version of you. It's going to require another level of abiding in the Lord so that He can prepare you for that expansion. And so when I read this, it just makes me so happy, because God answered him. He answered the request to keep him from pain and all trouble. And the thing is, the man who prayed to God, his name actually meant pain. And I had to bring my Bible out so I could tell you the name. His mother named him Jabez, because his birth had been so painful. That name and that word curse has been placed on him his whole life. And he prayed and asked God to come to him, and God granted his request. And that's something that you can is that when we ask God, To do something for us. Not only does he hear us, but he will reply whether we like the response or not. He's listening to us, and he is always there
