I left my corporate job to start a skincare brand for party girls and made a mistake that almost cost me everything. I'm Jade and this is Sabrina and we're two best friends from college who are now the co-founders of 4AM Skin. After college, I worked on Wall Street while Sabrina went to medical school. We built 4AM Skin because even though we were living very different lives, we both didn't have time for 12 step skincare routines and we refused to accept that our skin had to suffer just because we were busy living our lives. So we made something for us. The truth is makeup wipes have always been demonized and honestly for good reason. They're dry, they tug at your skin, they're full of harsh ingredients that leave you red and irritated. But so many of us use them because it's better than falling asleep in your makeup and not washing your face at all. That's why we built Clean Sheets, credit card sized for on the go, super soaked to reduce tugging, packed with serum level ingredients like Centella Asiatica and Vitamin B5 that actually cleanse, soften and hydrate instead of destroying your skin. It took us two years of development to get right and we went through manufacturer after manufacturer because we refused to compromise on quality. When we launched, we genuinely just hoped other busy people out there felt the same way we did, left out of the skincare industry, tired of being told their skin didn't matter if they couldn't commit to a routine. And then it went viral. The response was insane. Your reviews, your videos, people actually got it. They understood what we were trying to do and then we ran out of stock. Here's where I panicked as a founder. I didn't order enough inventory for our first run. We completely sold out and I had to make this gut wrenching decision, use almost all of our cash reserves to do a much bigger restock. I knew the momentum was there, but I was terrified. What if we lose it while we're waiting? What if TikTok doesn't show our potential customers our videos again? What if this was just a viral moment that's already passed? But then I realized something. Clean Sheets didn't go viral because of a trend. It went viral because we built something we actually needed and you needed it too. This wasn't just a flash in the pan. It was real feedback from real people. So I made the bet. Our restock just landed and is now available on TikTok Shop, so grab them while you can.
